Based near Loughborough, Leicestershire and trained as a professional Boat Safety Examiner and Gas Safe Registered Marine Gas Engineer some years ago. All my work is covered by Professional Indemnity and Public Liability Insurance.
My regular clients include boat owners on all the major marinas along the River Soar; Raynsway, Meadow Farm and Pillings Lock Marina.
On the Trent & Mersey I'm often at Sawley & Shardlow Marina, Colwick and Castle marina also being covered.
I work at Whilton Marina and the New & Used Boat Company at Mercia (Willington) & Blisworth marina.
On the Grand Union, Oxford canal and Leicester section Brinklow, Crick, Yelvertoft & Welford is also visited.
Currently I'm training to undertake boat surveying through the National Institute of Marine Surveying and expect to be fully qualified in 2012. This will allow me to offer you the benefit of booking your Boat Safety Examination, gas appliance servicing and Boat Survey together in one package.
On a more personal level, a little over 10 years ago taking the decision of living afloat, a move that has never been regretted. It’s a great way of life.
